Sunday morning rolled around and we were up and back on the beach by 8am. We brought a little less with us this time since we were only going to be out there a few hours - including my camera, so these are some snapshots from my trusty phone.
About 30 minutes after we arrived and a 50 yard walk down the coast, Radley found this little guy...
We still have no idea what it actually is other than a little worm-like creature that felt like a seahorse but was shaped like a snake. He was quite the swimmer and hung out with us in our bucket all morning.
Landry was a little, ehm, territorial of her potato chips. I kept trying to hide them and she kept pulling them out. She really didn't want to share as indicated by the massive amounts of sand that she poured into them. She decided she didn't want to sit on the ground to enjoy her trusty snack when Daddy is available.
We just enjoyed another easy day of playing in the sand, soaking up the sun and running in the waves. Emmy was determined to dig a giant hole, she made it about 2 inches down and then got distracted with something else.
Then on another treasure hunt, we found this little guy.
Ryan and Radley worked on building us a castle fit for Kings!
And before we knew it - we had to say goodbye.
What a fantastic weekend!!!
Radley's sea creature looks like a pipefish to me. =)
