Slow and easy...

We had a great weekend! A sweet, slow and easy weekend!

Saturday morning the girls and I ran some errands while the boys worked in the yard. Then we got to celebrate Cameron's birthday!

I'm not sure what it is about birthday parties that make my kids make faces like this...

good thing they are real cute! ;)

Landry worked on her diving form a lot...

and then cooled off with a cold one.

When we got home from the party the kids had a great surprise waiting for them... GIGI AND POPS!!!

My mom has been in Baton Rouge since June taking care of MaMaw after she broke her hip and we have been missing her tons. The kids were thrilled to see them. 

We threw on some dry clothes and headed to Blue Baker to eat and then came home to watch movies and enjoy the ease of a summer Saturday night brings. When we woke up on Sunday morning we were treated to SEVENTY degree weather. It was like God wrapped a present and hand delivered it to our door. We took that opportunity to enjoy His great gifts and ate breakfast al fresco and enjoyed the company of family. 

Radley learned some fun new skills and became Robin Hood...

Landry was our own little Martha playing hostess...

and of course we had a princess, too.

Then Pops showed Radley had to wittle...

Gigi got in some snuggles...

and we all sat there savoring the time spent together.
