Happy Number FIVE...

Well, I would say that Radley had the best fifth birthday that he could have hoped for. His day started with a wake up call from Emmy... "Happy Dirthday, Radley...happy dirthday!!"

He was PUMPED and just so cute and ran straight to us full of big hugs.

Our FIVE year old with "sleepy eyes".

We made him a "breakthrough" sign and hung it high enough for Emmy to walk under. He wanted to keep it in tact all day. We gave him 15 minutes (I am not nearly as agile as I once was so bending down to walk to kids' rooms was not how I wanted to spend the morning). :)

Special cards. Special plate. Special breakfast. For a fantastically special BIG kid.

That afternoon I brought some ice cream to his class so he could celebrate with his friends.

He was so excited. And I love watching him this little group. They were all giving me the "scoop" on the time out table {that NONE of them ever have to sit at}, who has been a good listener and who else was {soon to be} five.

He ended this special day with one of his favorites, sloppy joes, bbq chips, yummy cake (complete with cricut creations) surrounded by his favorite people.

He got lots of mail filled with $5, too!

After dinner they headed out to play in the treehouse!
(This group is soon to welcome another BOY...Baby Bailey in December. Radley is pretty excited to increase the testosterone levels)

And of course a silly pic.

Landry and Mille were busy doing other things like naps and eating.

These two are 26 hours apart in age. They met in the hospital and are more like siblings (complete with sibling disagreements)... still can't believe they are already five.

After the running around and playing it was time for some cake... I think his wishes all came true!

He is loved.

He is adored.

He has the best friends...

that give the best hugs!

And he's got mad photography skills.
;)

(The "biggest kids" were jealous that we never get to take an "oldest to youngest" pic...we're pretty cute, too!)

And, tell me... how can a day get any better when it's sealed with a kiss?

We love you, Radley!! Hope your day was the happiest yet and that your year is as amazingly wonderful as you!!!
