This summer I was so excited to join Melanie Shankle's launch team for her new book. Her team did a great job keeping launch members motivated and prepared to help promote Melanie's latest treasure of words. As the drop date approached they kept the incentives coming including fabulous giveaways with some of Melanie's favorite things. My favorite of her favorite things were these boots. I had "boots" on my "need" list for the longest time. I just had this feeling that I was meant to win those boots and y'all....

I have gotten some great wear out of them already since the weather has dropped 5 degrees meaning that it's officially fall.
Radley's over wearing holiday theme but the girls couldn't wait to pull out their Halloween gear. Only in Texas can you pair bat shirts with linen shorts. Ha!
I love all the time I get to hang out with students. I especially love when those students that have left me behind post graduation come back for visits!! What an awesome start to my day!
Landry falls asleep in the car 4 out of 5 days a week. She drools 3 of those days. Poor sister misses her nap time. (Although she would never actually admit that!)
The annual book character parade is approaching and Emersyn didn't waste anytime picking a character or creating her cover! I love how much she loves art and how much joy she gets from being creative!
Friday nights mean pizza and movies at our house and we debuted a classic last week! I was a bit nervous about their reaction but they all LOVED every minute and have already watched it again!
30+ years of friendship looks good on us!
