Birthday celebrations (pt 1)...

We woke up Friday morning ready to celebrate our adorable THREE-year-old! The cake was iced and sprinkled with purple...

and the gifts were waiting to be opened. We only needed a birthday girl...

In we charged with a ever-so-chipper "happy birthday to you"...

and our normally grumpy-in-the-morning girl...

rubbed her eyes...

and jumped out of bed with a smile!

Happy birthday sweet girl!

All 3 were all smiles! (please note that Radley decided he needed to be in his pjs, too...so he ran to his room and put on pj pants for this picture).

She was so excited to open her gifts...

and gave Radley the biggest hug when she saw her Doc McStuffins bag.

Ryan and I got her a scooter and when she saw it, she said, "look Rad! A gift for you, too!" Ha! Such a giver. It took her a second to get used to it but she is getting the hang of it.

She wanted to eat her cake for breakfast, but then she settled for the cinnamon rolls that were already baking. (I was going to give her the cake).

I love it when the kids know that something is all about them. They don't really crave attention but they do get so happy when they understand that everyone is celebrating how special they are.

And this Daddy definitely thinks that this girl is special!

Then it was time to get dressed and head off to school... everyone wore a bit of purple in honor of the birthday girl.

I can't get over how much they love each other.

And how much I adore her.

Don't worry, Landry... we adore you, too!
;)

Doesn't three look good on her?

I can't wait to see what this year brings for her - so much fun ahead!!!
