HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMERSYN!

You are three years old, today! 

I feel like just yesterday you arrived into this world - and although you were small you filled our lives with such joy. I am thankful every single day that God chose me to be your mom. He picked you out just for us and nothing can be more special than knowing that. 

Things that I want to remember about you at 3...

You are every bit as sassy as you are sweet.

Your stature may be small but you bring a mighty presence to every thing you do.

You are an amazing sister. You are so patient with Landry (even when she pulls your hair) and you want to be right next to Radley all the time (even if it's just to bug him). 

You love to snuggle.

You are grumpy in the morning.

You love adding "guys" to phrases. As in "hey guys!" "whatcha doin, guys?" "don't leave me, guys!" - it may be my current favorite thing you say.

You can entertain yourself for hours.

You love singing.

You ask me to hold you for "just one minute" every night when I put you to sleep.

You are scared of "thunder cats".

You love tomatoes and grapes.

You love drinking Gigi's sweet tea and Dr Peppers.

You are impossible to ever really be angry with.

You get away with lots at school because your teachers think you are cute.

You weigh 25.6 lbs, wear anything from a 12mo - 3T, and a size 6 shoe.

You love helping.

You are an expert wash cloth folder.

You love Mitch. Are indifferent about Merv. And hate Kasey.

You like your Daddy to do your hair.

Your purple flip flops are still your favorite shoe.

You love looking at pictures of you as a baby.

You insist on buckling your own seat belt.

You are tough. You hardly ever cry if you fall down, bump your head, scrape your knee, etc.

Your favorite doll is Violet.

You love playing dress up and carrying a purse.

You prefer green juice and water to milk - unless it's chocolate.

You like to decide how you want your hair done - but I can trick you sometimes.

You will watch Mickey Mouse's "Crystal Mickey" 1000 times in a row.

You hardly ever sit through an entire movie.

You will do anything for gum.

And you are pretty much the most adorable 3 year old in the world.
