We had the most awesome treat on Thursday - a visit from the Kents!!! I didn't tell my kiddos they were coming so when we went to grab "Chic A Lay" and Karli and "Cewper" were there waiting, it was like Christmas all over again!
They had a ton of fun playing on the playscape and Jenni and I had a ton of fun gabbing away and letting someone else clean up the mess! :) We headed home so the kids could exchange presents and laugh some more.
And then we were treated to a CONCERT! Each kid prepared a musical number and performed.
Lady Landry - "La la la la la la la"
Princess Emersyn - "For the First Time in Forever"
Karli the Cute - "Let it go!"
Cooper the Courageous - "ABC"
Rad Radley - "What does the Fox Say?"
Each kiddo performed and then stopped for a picture, which is why Radley doesn't have a snapshot - he was sadly injured during his interpretive dance to "What does the Fox Say?".
I will say that we were much more concerned than maybe it seems. Well, when we noticed that he was "injured" of course. He may or may not get his dramatic tendencies from a contributor to this blog. But apparently the ground is "really really really" hard. And it was the grounds fault for hitting his head. And well, he had nothing to do with it because that's simply just how he dances.
Remind me to never let him attend an actual "head banging" event.
We called the dance party quits because in today's world you really need to avoid any chance of a law suit and we don't have that much insurance coverage. We finished the evening with a movie and slumber party, complete with popcorn, giggles, cuddles galore!
Love this group of kiddos so much!
