These two beautiful people are getting married today.
We think they are pretty special. They are former students of mine that have become life long friends and we could not be more excited about their union.
KK (or Katelin as we grownups call her) lived with us the summer Emmy was born and took care of her when I went back to work. Radley is kind of in love with her and actually still calls Landry's room "KKs room".
These two cuties get to be "in" the wedding...
We decided Landry may be a bit too small for her wedding debut.
We are so excited about celebrating with them today and being there to offer support and love as they begin their new life together.
I was slightly excited about their gift and made them open it last night. These are antique flashcards that I had framed with their anniversary date. (Katelin is a teacher) I hope it serves as a constant reminder to them about the commitment of marriage and what it means to say "I do".
It is promising to stand together through much more than all the good and bad - but everything in between. It's being there for all the laughter and tears, celebrations and tragedies. Deaths and babies. It's creating a new family together. Its putting Him first in your marriage. It's being patient through times of change. It's looking forward to new beginnings but celebrating the "right now."
