Alfie's Adventures...

So I know that I posted about my love/hate relationship with Alfie, but on the chance that some of you are experiencing that same feeling with your elves, I thought I'd share some of things that Alfie has been doing around here.


Dec 1 - Alfie arrives and gets stuck in lights. His apology is tickets to Santa's Wonderland

Dec 2 - Alfie wants us to know that the real reason for the season is about the ultimate gift that we were given years ago

Dec 3 - Alfie tried to crash Barbie's tea party but the dinosaurs were not impressed. Alfie became their prisoner. (And Radley LOVED this one ... super easy too!)

Dec 4 - Alfie hanging out with Daddy's nutcrackers. (Which was more lesson themed bc Emmy had dropped on earlier so she was able to tell Alfie the rules that we don't play with these - "they NOT toys, Alfie!!!")

Dec 5 - Alfie drew Radley a picture. No picture was taken. :)

Dec 6-7 - Alfie made the trek to Waco and delivered Christmas pjs. (The planner he is bought them in SEPTEMBER and almost forgot he had them). This really just added to the magic of Alfie and redeems all those negative qualities that he has. We put the pjs in the kids' stockings at my parents and they were so excited that he came to Waco and brought something fun!

(He then fell from his perch and had to lay on the floor ALL.DAY.LONG. since we can't touch him and he doesn't do magic in front of people. I finally gave in and picked him up with some kitchen tongs. They work just fine in our house).

And then we left him in Waco which lead to this...

and an unexpected trip back to Waco 25 minutes into our trip. He is only still living because the kids were asleep.
