Tiny Tales Thursday...

The girls had their Easter egg hunts at school today which meant they came home with 2 dozen eggs filled with candy and toys. As soon as we stepped into the door, they began sorting their treasures and begging me to eat the candy.

L: Can we have candy?
Me: Not yet - we are about to eat dinner.
L: When? (in the high-low-high tone)
Me: I don't know ask me later.
L: Can we have candy?
Me: Ask me later.

L: It's latah - can we have candy now???
