Super siblings...

Last night Radley and Emersyn learned all about being "super siblings". Now, I personally think they are pretty advanced when it comes to knowing the ropes, but it never hurts to continue your education.

Each sibling was given their "big" name tag (as modeled below) and backpack full of goodies before heading out on the tour headed up by Nurse Ruth.
They could hardly contain their excitement...

Emersyn was technically too young to participate, but well, she was given the green light since she had a personal escort to show her the big sibling ropes.

Radley loved every bit of it....he's kind of a brown noser, so he was out to be the favorite by answering questions and pointing out that he was already a big brother (unlike the remaining class mates - they were all newbies to the world of oldest sibling).

Emmy just liked to follow Radley around, point to my stomach and say "Baby"! ;)

Nurse Ruth did such a great job pointing out all the things that Mommy and Baby were going to have/wear/use and let the kids in class push buttons, feel the heat lamps, look at the bathroom and ask as many questions as they wanted.

Again, Radley was a very attentive student...

While this cute little nugget had better things to do. If this is any indication of her behavior in school, I better prepare myself now for some interesting parent/teacher conferences. Ha!

I loved the instant connection the big kids had with each other - they were instant friends and they all held hands walking from room to room. As fate would have it, Radley was the only boy (story of his life) which just made me giggle. Maybe MAK will be a boy, but it won't surprise me if MAK is a girl.

There were tons of babies in the nursery and the kids got to watch them get bathed. The nurses pointed out all the tiny body parts and just did a great job with the kids. This was Emmy's favorite part - she did not want to leave the babies and kept asking to go back.

The tour ended with the world's silliest video and all the kids got to feed a baby...

He's a pro...

And she did great, too! She made sure to point out all the body parts for everyone.

And apparently, learning about what it means to be a big sibling is tiring because Emmy was out in about 2 seconds flat!

Can't believe these littles are going to have an even littler one in 5 weeks! So ready to meet MAK!
