First Fiesta!

We had the privilege to help celebrate a sweet baby boy's FIRST birthday this weekend. Graham is the son of two of my all-time favorite students turned all-time most precious friends. KK lived with us when Emmy was a baby which means she's really part of the family - the kids still call it "KK's room" and "KK's bathroom" so there was no way that we were going to miss this big day. 

At one point in the party Graham got a little fussy so Radley took it upon himself to pick him up and Graham LOVED him. He kept putting his head onto Radley's shoulder and just LOVED him. It was the sweetest, cutest, most adorable thing I had seen in a long time. It **almost** made me think we should have one more. ;)

He loved his cake and it took everything I had not to just go kiss his cheeks with all that icing on them, but I didn't want to be the weirdo from College Station. 

Plus his Daddy picked him up before I could get to him. 

Katelin  did a great job of putting together the cutest party. The decorations were adorable, the food was amazing and the games were a big hit! (Literally!) Emmy didn't hold back on the piñata...

and Landry was a whiz at pin the tail on the donkey.

The thing about the day that got me was how much they just adored Graham. They had only met him twice, but since he belonged to KK, he also belonged to them. Their love for HER meant that they love HIM. A lot. 

And it all started with a sweet Hospitality student that was willing to hang with this kid on a regular basis. 

Happy first birthday, Graham! Can't wait to celebrate all the fiestas yet to come!
