Sweet summer time...

Isn't summer just the best? I love it. I adore the pace, the smells, the heat, the clothes, the late nights and sleepy mornings. All of it. Life was just made for summer. We've adapted quickly this year to all things fun-in-the-sun so here are some of my sweet summertime favorites...

Summer Finds...

How adorable is this tea towel from HobLob? They had tons to choose from but I could only use one 40% off coupon at a time. I have plans to go back and get more.

Summer Service...

Holly is leading a great summer of service campaign and we joined the fun this week. Check out how we donated this week and you can also read TONS of great ideas from Holly here

We also joined them one morning this week to make bags for seniors in our community. In under one hour these kiddos (plus some parents) made 360 bags for senior citizens - what a blessing this work will be! You can follow Holly's challenge along on Instagram at #soschallenge2015.

Summer decor...

I am a sucker for a seasonal mantle and Kim did a great post last week about her July 4th mantle (let's discuss her garland and her use of straws (!) ) and inspired me to do the same.  In about 15 minutes I did this with things I had around the house. Now I realize not everyone has all of this stuff laying around, but you'd be surprised by what you do have!

Summer treats...

We can't get enough of these watermelon popsicles but check out these other fun recipes I posted on the Dish here.

Summer fun...

Radley had a friend come over last week and it rained non-stop for about 2.5 hours. And they played outside in the COLD rain for about 2 of those hours. Y'all I literally teared up watching them play. Nothing sweeter than watching your kids truly experience joy.

Summer projects...

Our banquette is coming together and I couldn't possibly love it more. We still need to add hinges, stain the top, paint the bottom, extend the table, and paint the chairs, but look how adorable this is! Ryan has totally outdone himself and I *promise* a step by step(ish) post once it's complete.

(and go ahead and ignore those wrinkles, mkay?)

Summer style...

I am loving my Shimmering Gold Heart Knot necklace this summer. Cindy and I purchased these together when she was running a bestie sale. Not gonna lie, when it arrived in the mail, I was totally intimidated to wear it - I just didn't think I'd be able to pull it off. But, it has become one of my favorite pieces and looks fantastic with just about anything. It's the perfect summer style piece and is a great conversation starter. I'm a sucker for supporting small business owners and Mary's shop is full of fun finds - each necklace is hand made and just amazing.

Summer {blog} lovin'

I'm pretty pumped to share that Shelly and I are working on an awesome new link-up that celebrates women. We hope that it will be ready by the 2nd week of July, so stay tuned!!

Linking up with AndreaErika, and Narci

    1. Seriously so easy! I think I want to add pineapple juice or coconut water instead of plain old water next time.
