Mall madness...

We celebrated our WT, mall rat, low key Christmas with the Hot Mess Munson's last weekend and this is about as excited as the Dad's got. We had the extra special treat of Pops & Gigi and Papa & Bebe (Cindy's parents) joining us for the craziness (but I never got a pic :/) and even they have to admit it was full of fun!

Seriously, what could be better than walking through a newly renovated, uncrowded mall filled with holiday cheer? Ok - maybe a few things, but the kids LOVE it.

First stop was a group photo with Santa -- Landry and Millie **may** have been screaming a little, but we like it.

Then it was time for some window shopping. I really appreciate you, Pops, for pointing out the cute puppies to the kids. The price tag is super cheap for a gift and there is absolutely nothing more that Cindy and I need than another mouth to feed. Not to mention how much we **love** dogs.
;)

If you are looking for an easy family night out - seriously go to the mall. The kids played games with the tiles, we got some good gift ideas for friends and family and we only looked a little crazy stopping to take pictures.

Everyone partnered up with their usual buddy - I can't wait to see what they will do with their buddies in 5, 10, 15 years. Well, maybe.

Sadly the mall is under major renovations (well, not sadly because our mall is AWFUL. Like just awful - seriously the shopping options in this town are Dillards, JCP, and Target. My online shopping is completely justified) so there is not a playground at the moment. They kids had to settle on these as entertainment. We put Emmy and Anna in one and Emmy literally jumped out when it started. I have never seen a kid move so fast. She did not love it.

BUT...this year they had a train that drove throughout the mall and they DID love it.

Well, maybe not everyone.
:)

These two definitely did!

One group pic to mark off another year of Mall Madness. I really do think we should make shirts and go on a scavenger hunt. Josh and Ryan would LOVE it.
L-O-V-E it!

After this was said and done - we all headed to Cracker Barrel for dinner. Imagine the look on the hostess' face when we requested a table for 14: 2 high chairs, 2 boosters, and 10 seats.

For some reason they put us in the back.
