We had Radley's four year pictures done in September and we got the CD yesterday, and well as you are about to see they more than worth the wait!
Radley kinda likes attention and this shoot was all about him and all that our cute four-year-old boy entails.
Emersyn did make an appearance at the beginning of the shoot (she was 15 months) because I wanted to remember them as siblings at this age, too.
Seriously. Adorable.
I love that they are both laughing with their mouths open...makes me happy to see them happy.
And this one showcases their personalities to a tee.
Radley, the oldest, doing exactly what he is told: holding sister's hands, looking at camera, smiling big.
Emersyn, the baby (at this point), trying to get away to do something "much better" with her time.
Then Cindy took Emersyn to play with the HMMs and Radley had Mommy and Miss Sarah all to himself.
Sarah knew of a building in Bryan with "4444" for their address. They have these giant numbers in front that made the perfect accessory for these next shots.
These two (above and below) are self-posed...little ham.
Then we headed out to a Midas shop. Sounds crazy, but old tires, giant garage doors and a random old truck created some great pictures...
Seriously, we arrived at this location and I saw this truck locked up inside. Midas was closing but there were a few employees hanging around. Me being the ever-so-shy and timid person that I am NOT walked up to them and asked if we could take some pictures of Radley with the truck. And to my surprise, they grabbed the keys, backed it out and said, "have fun!"
So we did...
This is the one that made me cry. Something just so simple about it. Me thinking about him at 17 and not "needing" me anymore. I could cry again right now, but I won't. Instead, I'll look at this sweet boy and be thankful for all that he brings to my life.
Then he got silly...
Sillier...
And started posing again.
;)
He is going to be such a heart breaker...
And if you wonder what makes him smile and laugh in so many pictures...
He has a CrAzY mommy that jumps, makes faces and runs at him for some motivation...
Our little superhero...
These next two collages could not be more fitting for his giant personality...
Full of so much life and laughter...
And Lightening of course made it along for the shoot...
Thanks, Sarah, for capturing his heart. You surely know how to melt mine.
these are AWESOME! what a super cute boy...a super creative momma...and a super fun photographer! i am totally going to steal the midas idea - love it. xoxo
