Momarazzi Nightmare...

It happened.

Just like I knew it could.

All of them.

GONE.

Stuck inside a machine.

Me. Helpless.

Husband confused by the tears. The yelling at said machine and even him. (Sorry, Ryan...I overreact sometimes).

Geek Squad closed. Customer service guy trying to be as nice to crying pregnant woman on phone as he can.

Four years. 20,000 pictures.

G.O.N.E.

Happy New Year, huh?

Yes - this stinks.

The rational Katy has said the following:
1. I know they are on there somewhere so it will be fine.
2. They can't have just disappeared.
3. The Mac guys will find them.

The faith filled, positive thinking Katy has noted the following:
1. Grateful that I am a somewhat consistent blogger for documentation.
2. I have literally printed the majority of all the pictures we have taken since Radley was born, labeled them and placed them in albums. (Yes - we have a lot of albums).
3. Ryan has all of our pictures backed up on an external hard drive that holds LOTS of stuff.

The 30 week pregnant mommy has said the following:
1. What do you mean, "You don't know?!?" when asking husband what happened.
2. Did you REALLY just LAUGH at me? when husband laughed while I was in middle of said fit.
3. I want to see the pictures NOW.
4. And other things I can't recall through the tears and hormones.

So, dear blog readers, say a prayer that the guys at the Mac store can work their magic. Be grateful that I didn't put myself in labor because I started feeling some consistent contractions last night from my hysterical fit. And most importantly, back up your pictures. :)

  1. I am SURE they will be able to get them all back - this happened to me also and I got it all back through the Mac people at a store called TekServe. Worst case if your guys can't do it, ship it up here and I'll take it there. Hang in there.
